A little update
Am still trying to get into the habit of blogging and fitting it in with work. Think I'm getting there, especially now I've installed the blogger app on my iPod it's been great. The problem is I don't know when my partner will work from home so therefore I can't get access to the computer. This happened this week so haven't been able to do my April favourites and my empties post. Hopefully they will go up this week. Have lots of posts planned including favourite products, nails of the day, nail art, nail care routine, skincare routine and lots more. I am really enjoying writing my blog and I'm glad I set it up.
NOTD Pretty in pink
Just got this today and had to put it on my nails! Power Pink by Nails Inc. It's a great shade of pink for the summer. I got this free with Instyle magazine that is out just now, it also comes with a blue which I believe is called bluebell and a peach colour. I love it when Nails Inc varnishes are freebies with magazines. A Nails Inc varnish is £3.80, so a great saving. So if you were to buy all three of the shades available it would only be a couple of pounds over what one varnish would cost, which is great. I did this once when they came with Glamour magazine. Granted I did buy them in different shops, don't think I would take two or more of the same magazine to the till, but that's just me. Oh another thing that I forgot is that these colours are exclusive to Instyle magazine so you won't be able to get them anywhere else.

NOTD
This is my first nail of the day post and my first China Glaze nail varnish. It's Stone Cold and I love it. It went on really easily, one coat would have been enough but I am a creature of habit and always do two coats. It has little flecks of silver in it and it actually dries matt which looked good but I wanted a shine so used a top coat, Seche Vite. Having loved this varnish do much will be looking into getting more from this range.
Am doing this on my iPod so am hoping this works!

Temporary Secretary Haul
One of the blogs I follow had done a review on Temporary Secretary jewellery and I went onto the website for a look. I really liked what I saw and decided to place an order, only problem was I couldn't decide what to order. Then I saw that they did a 5 item or 12 item lucky dip. I decided to go for the 12 item lucky dip which costs £20 for which you recive approx £50+ of items, which I thought was a great deal. A few days after I placed my order I received an email saying that my order was dispatched and that they were sorry for the delay. I hadn't noticed that it had taken any longer, but it was a nice touch.
When my parcel arrived it looked so pretty the way in which it was wrapped and I wish I had a picture of it, but I hadn't decided to do my blog then. There was a lovely card inside saying thatnk you for your order and again apologising for the delay, which I thought was a lovely touch.
I got a great selection of pieces as you can see. All of which I am very happy about. Some of them like the apple necklace I would never have picked but its great. Which is why I think the lucky dip is so good, as you will prob get things that you wouldn't pick yourself but may end up loving anyway.
Aren't they all just so lovey? The peacock necklace is so pretty, think it has to be my favourite.
I can't wait to wear all of these lovely pieces and will be ordering from there again.

April Glossy Box
It was with mixed feelings that I awaited the arrival of this box. As I've said before, I was orginally recieving the Carmine boxes and when they joined with Glossy Box there was a lot of unhappy people on Carmine's facebook page saying they had changed from Glossy box to Carmine. But I thought I'd give it a go, I could always cancel them if I didn't like them, and I loved this box!!
It was their natural beauty box, which came with different coloured box which is also biodegradable and the products inside are all ethical products.
Caudalie, Vinosource SOS Thirst-Quenching Serum: This I am excited to use once I have finished my Decleor oil. I have been wanting to try this brand and was very happy to see this in the box. The size in this box is exclusive to Glossybox and full size is £29.00 for 30ml.
Inka Cosmetics, Certified organic eyeliner: I have heard of this brand but have not tried aything from them. I got mine in Purple Minx, which I am thrilled with as I love anything purple. This is £11.75 per eyeliner. I would have to love this if I was going to buy this as over £10 for an eyeliner pencil seems a bit much to me.
Monu professional skincare, Moisture rich collagen cream: A brand I have never heard of before opening this box. I am looking forward to trying. It costs £17.50 for 50ml. If its good and works for me, I have no problem paying that.
Figs & Rouge Lip balm: I got mine in rose. I already have the coca vanilla one which I adore, so was very happy to get another one. Although they are saying that it is a lip balm, it is really a balm that you can use anywhere on dry skin. I don't know if I would use the rose one as a lip balm, as I've tried it and it tastes realy strong of rose and I didn't like that. It costs £3.99 for 8ml.
Burt's Bees, Naturally Nourishing Milk and Honey Body Lotion: I love Burt's Bees but on't seem to buy much of their products apart from their lip balms. I used this the first night I got it and its brilliant. It costs £9.99 for 190g and I would definiately buy this.
I am very happy with this box, a good mixture of products, including one I've never heard of. I hope next months box is just as good.

H&M Jewllery
This little selection of goodies arrived this morn, it did feel like it took forever to arrive!
The reason for the order was the starfish ring. I had seen it in a magazine or another blog and fell in love with it, couldn't get it in the shop so went online to see if it was there.
I was only planning on getting the ring but when I went to H&M's website and looked their delivery cost which is £3.90. Now I felt this was a bit much for a £1.99 ring so I had to get a couple of more things to justify the cost. The London, Paris, New York bracelets are a set and I thought they were cute. The other ones are also a set and I got them to wear with they sporty/rubber watches that I wear alot.
I'm very happy with my order and the starfish ring is so cute.

April's Joliebox
This is the first box that I have recieved from Jolie box. I had signed up for the Carmine box but as I'm sure you are all aware they joined forces with Glossy box and are no more, which I was disappointed about. So I made the decision to sign up for Jolie box and Glossy box, I was always intending to sign up for two.
I have to say I'm very impressed with my first box, from the way it looks to the contents.
I really like the fact that it is black, and that the contents are in a drawstring bag that can be reused. You also get a Joliemag, which I really enjoyed reading and think that it is a nice touch.
This box was aimed at changing of the seasons.
Balance Me, Cleanse and smooth face balm: I have a shower gel from Balance Me and have always wanted to try more from this brand. This is £20 full size (125ml), on their website it is £4 for the 15ml size that is in the box. On their website it does say to remove it using a muslin cloth, I have a few of these so that is not a problem. I am looking forwaed to trying this having recently gotten into more gel/balm consistency cleansers.
Tropic Skincare, Skin Revive: This happens to be from one of the contestants from last years Apprentice. The website says that it is good for all skin types except very oily. For 30mls it is £15.95. It smells nice, so am interested to see what it is like.
Pure Fiji, Exotic bath and body oil: This smells amazing!! I've got the coconut one, it comes in another 9 flavours. This can be used as a bath oil, hair and scalp oil, massage oil or as a daily moisturiser. I love body oils, and hope this will be good. It is £24.50 for 235mls.
Bellapierre, Black mascara: This is a long lasting mascara, which creates thicker and fuller lashes. I havent tried it yet so can't comment. This was the only full size product in the box and it is £19.99.
KMS California, Freeshape Hot Flex Spray: This is a protective heat styling spray that lasts until you next wash your hair. I love a heat protector spray, and this looks good. On Cheapsmells this is £12.70, which is a bit more expensive than I'd normally pay but if its good then I may be tempted.
I also got an added product of the Jane Iredale just kissed lip and cheek stain. This was in march's box. This reacts to your own chemistry, so is different on everyone. I liked this addition of an extra product.
Overall I'm very pleased with the box, I feel like it is well suited to me as it is all things that I would use and I'm looking forward to next months box.
